All aboard! The 2025 excursion season at Railtown 1897 State Park! Excursion trains on Saturdays and Sundays and scheduled for 10:30 am, 12 pm, 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm, April through September. Tickets may be purchased in advance online. https://www.railtown1897.org/visit/excursion-train-rides

On our seasonal weekend train rides, guests will enjoy a memorable six-mile, 45-minute round trip ride on the rails of the famous "Movie Railroad," including past the iconic water tank seen in "Petticoat Junction," a popular TV show that aired in the 60's and 70's. 

The Park itself is open 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily for self-guided and guided tours year-round. Exhibits, including a movie museum, are found throughout the grounds. Admission to Park: 

• Adults – $5 adults

• Youths – $3 youths (ages 6-17)

• Children – Free (ages 5 and under)

• Members – Free
